12 Weeks

The latest photos of Bebe.

Shot from up-above, with hand. And two side angles.

Baby seems to be healthy and all is going well! We forced the ultrasound tech to tell us what she thought the sex is, but since it's too early to be positive, we won't share yet. :)

It's official!

Take a close look and my may recognize the Alexander nose or the Wright hairline. In case you need a little direction, the head's on the left, you can sorta see an eye, then the arms, then the body. The thing on the right is not the head like I may have initially thought, but in fact the yolk.

Mitchell and I are having a baby! We're about 9 weeks along and are excited to welcome our little HeShe September 15, 2011! The doctor said everything looks healthy and I've been feeling great, so all is well. Can't wait to welcome HeShe to the world! Next ultrasound in 3 weeks. :)

First Sign of Life

Look what was waiting for me outside this morning! What a nice surprise in this slightly warmer weather. This is from some sort of "vine" I planted last year on our arbor. It came from a neighbor who got it from a friend and I have yet to identify it, so if you have any ideas...

Cool Discount Site

I stumbled across this little gem. It's called The Foundry and they post new discounted household products every day for a limited amount of time. Heads up - I did get excited about something and it was Sold Out before I pulled the trigger. Membership is free and you can get credits for having more friends sign up. Enjoy! http://www.thefoundary.com/invite/bburgott

Why the comments?

My cheeks get pink at every possible moment - when I'm drunk, cold, hot, happy, embarrassed, just worked out and a variety of other opportunities. So, saying to me, "your cheeks are red, did you just..." gets really, really old and annoying. You may as well say, "your muffin top is protruding especially far today, did you just eat a donut?" Also, do not ask me, "was that a sneeze?" I have the Alexander nose, which involves very large nostrils and I may subconsciously sneeze strangely so avoid blowing snot all over people unaware of personal space. I believe this results in something that doesn't always sound like a sneeze. Feel free to tell me, "nice cowboy boots" or "I like your hair that way." Not, "is that the new style?" or "are you cold, or is that a fashion statement?" or "is that your new hairstyle, or were you just too lazy to dry your hair?" If you don't have anything nice to say, leave me alone. :)

Local Celebs

Could NOT resist. Bob from Bob's Red Mill, and his wife, Charlee, were at the Red Mill store today when we visited for lunch. They were signing cookbooks and selling them for $2 off. You best believe I picked one up! They both signed it - so cute.
oh yeah, and I took a creepy stalker photo, too.

Happy Holidays!!

Happy Holidays from the Wrights!
It's been another great year. I began a new career. Mitchell celebrated a milestone birthday in style. We found a new place to vacation. Our Ducks made it to the National Championships. And we've celebrated friends' weddings and babies. All in all, a rousing success.
Here's to holiday celebration with family and friends and the start to a new year with a new set of adventures to come.
